About artist 

Márta Jakobovits (1944–present), a ceramic artist from Romania, was born in Santău, Satu-Mare County. 

Márta's early artistic career began in the 1960s and have spanned over half a century. In her exploration of art, she has experimented with various methods of practice and research on pottery, and also to learn from the medium of clay, while engaging in observation and deep reflection on symbols, materials, philosophy, and mythology. She often rearranges her works through installations, integrating them into her surrounding environment or space.
